Residential Rehabilitation

Goldfields Rehabilitation Services Inc operates a residential rehabilitation programme with a minimum stay of 15 weeks. Residents can be reassessed after 10 weeks stay to ensure they are ready to graduate from the programme. Upon discussions and planning with staff residents may stay for a period up to an additional 10 weeks.

During your stay you will be expected to be an active participant of our programme and show motivation to get your life back on track. Our office is staffed 24 x 7 to ensure you are receiving the support you require.

On track residential services include:

- 24hr supervision
- Daily group therapy
- On Track Workbook
- Creative therapy
- Relaxation therapy
- Recreational therapy
- One on one counselling
- Development of life skills
- In house medical consultation

Upon admission, residents are provided with a welcome pack, which consists of basic toiletries, an On Track Workbook and a copy of the Residential Handbook.

Referrals
Anyone can enquire and make appointments to visit the Rehab and find out more about the Goldfields Rehabilitation Services Residential Program.

You do not require a referral from an external agency to be considered for the rehabilitation program.

Assessment
If you are interested in becoming a resident of the programme, an appointment will be made for an assessment following a referral form being received. If you are deemed suitable after your assessment, once a bed becomes available you will be requested to first complete detoxification program at GRSI.

Criteria for Admission

18 years of age or older
You are ready and motivated to participate in all aspects of the program of your own free will
You accept the conditions of the program
You agree to adhere to and abide by the house rules

Please note that assessments do not guarantee you a placement, GRSI has a daily waiting list to which eligible candidates are added to. You will be contacted once a bed becomes available.

If you believe, or others around you believe, that you have an alcohol and/or drug problem, you can ring us or come into GRSI to organize an assessment to assess your eligibility to the program. You will have needed to have completed the low medical detoxification to transition to the residential rehabilitation program.
