Gold Rehabilitation Services Inc. and Hope Community Services: A Partnership for Community Wellbeing

Goldfields Rehabilitation Services Inc. (GRSI) is proud to announce our ongoing collaboration with Hope Community Services to deliver meaningful and impactful programs for our clients and the wider community. A shining example of this partnership is the Men’s Bush Trip, an initiative designed to promote connection, healing, and personal growth in the natural beauty of the Australian bush.

Organised monthly by Hope Community Services staff Stephen Morrison and Trevor Johns, the Men’s Bush Trip is more than just an outing—it’s a therapeutic journey into the heart of nature. This program provides men in the community with an opportunity to step away from their daily lives, reflect on their experiences, and engage in activities that foster resilience, camaraderie, and well-being.

At GRSI, we believe in the power of collaboration to create lasting change. By teaming up with Hope Community Services, we are extending the support available to individuals in our community, offering them a chance to reconnect with nature and themselves while building strong, supportive relationships with peers.

The Men’s Bush Trip offers participants a safe, structured environment where they can explore practical life skills, share stories, and enjoy activities such as hiking, campfire discussions, and mindfulness exercises. With Stephen and Trevor’s dedication and expertise, each trip is thoughtfully designed to empower participants on their journey to recovery and wellness.

This partnership reflects the shared commitment of both organisations to providing holistic care that addresses not only physical and mental health but also the importance of community and connection. Together, we are ensuring that clients from both services have access to enriching experiences that support their personal growth and recovery journey.

We invite members of the community to learn more about the Men’s Bush Trip and the incredible work being done through this collaboration. If you or someone you know could benefit from this program, don’t hesitate to reach out to GRSI or Hope Community Services for more information.

By working together, we are making a difference—one step, one connection, and one bush trip at a time.
